I’ve always wanted an e-book reader. The idea of carrying a lot of books in just 1 slate is very appealing.
But the problem is these readers usually don’t support book purchases in my country, like Amazon Kindle? And more importantly, I don’t have a credit card to buy these books online. :S
Just found IRC (Internet Relay Chat) yesterday. Maybe I’m a little late or something, because the IRC has been there on the Internet for a long time already.
If you ask me what is IRC, well, I don’t really know. 😛
All I know is it’s for chatting purpose. Info for IRC.
I found IRC accidentally, and actually I have tried it without knowing that it’s IRC a few years ago. I’m really interested in IRC and I think it’s fun to use, because you can format your messages and input some commands to do some actions, you know, like you’re a programmer or something. 😀
Maybe it’s not as easy to use as some popular clients like MSN or Yahoo Messenger, but hey, they are different. And after you read some instructions on the Internet it’s not that difficult to use either.
Anyway, I tried to join some chat-rooms and surprised to find so few activr users. Sometimes there is only 1 user in a room??? So I did some searching and found out that the IRC is dying, many people have left the IRC.
So I kept searching for some rooms with more user in them. But when I found some, I found out that I was too shy to talk. Haha…
So I tried to ask my friends if they know IRC and if they use it or not. No luck…
Still wanting to use IRC, but how? 😦
I’ve waited a long time for Instagram to come to Android and finally it arrived two days ago 🙂
(Instagram is a photo-sharing app previously available only for iDevices, now available for Android devices as well.)
Made an account and been using it already. Pretty satisfied. 🙂
At last… Phew

The friend I mentioned in my previous post told me about Pixiv.net. An Japanese online community for artists, a bit like Devian Art, but I prefer Pixiv.net. I think people at Pixiv are very skilled. Most of their arts used Photoshop. But the advanced ones start with pen and paper then finish and retouch them with Photoshop.

I seriously don’t know what’s going on with my Internet connection. It’s been on-off-on-off non stop.
Sometimes when it’s connected, some pages just won’t load.

I really need the connection, because I’m working my invitation design online.

I’m celebrating my 17th birthday, and it takes a lot of preparation, man…
I’m not going to throw a big party with games and MC and polonaise, just a DINNER.
I got to make a list of invitees, book a decent restaurant, design my cake, buy some dresses and accessories, and make the invitation.
(sigh)
But I think after all of these is over, at least I have some remarkable experience on hosting a party.
Now I’m trying to create the invitation on my own, because it’s cheaper, but I’m having a difficulty finding free templates on Internet…
I think this is going to be my birthday cake.
Last week, I signed up on Facebook.
Actually I’ve been looking forward for it a long time ago, but can’t decide when to do. And many friends have signed up first, then I made it at last when my cousin suggested me to make one. She said that it is far better then Friendster. For now, I think yes. But I’m an easily getting bored person, so I guess I will get bored of it after a while…
Facebook has a lot of funny applications, I like to do the quizzes. It has games, calendar, news, etc, etc… And I had discovered that one of the IQ tests in Facebook is the same with the IQ test in Friendster, so I got better mark this time, hehehe… And I have also taken the advanced level. I only answered 4 questions from a total of 15 questions given, and surprisingly, my mark got even higher from the standard IQ test I have taken. I guess the IQ test isn’t too accurate…
Anyway, Facebook is a good site. It’s worth trying.
